Kistos Holdings, the independent energy company, said it remained on track to meet its full-year production guidance after completing its entry into Oman and delivering pro forma earnings of around $280 million in the first nine months of 2026.
The company maintained its guidance for production of 19,000-21,000 boepd for the full year, with year-to-date output of around 20,000 boepd despite a planned shutdown at the Jotun floating production vessel in Norway during the third quarter.
Kistos completed its acquisition of Blocks 3 & 4 in Oman on 14 September, with the assets contributing around $75 million to the nine-month EBITDA figure.
A second Omani acquisition, Block 9, is expected to complete before the end of the year.
Executive chairman Andrew Austin said the structure of Kistos's Omani offtake agreement provided additional protection against oil price weakness, with prices locked in for at least two to three months, supporting earnings even if markets softened.
The company reported average realised prices of $95 per barrel for oil and 113 pence per therm for gas across its non-Oman portfolio, reflecting its unhedged position in currently elevated commodity markets.
Cash and near-cash stood at $165 million at the end of September, down from $259 million at the half-year stage, with the reduction driven by the Oman completion payment, capital expenditure and around $32 million of debt repayment.
