Ian Lyall, a seasoned journalist and editor, brings over three decades of experience to his role as Managing Editor at Proactive. His roles encompassed directing news coverage, writing articles and features and penning a popular weekly column. His tenure coincided with banking crisis, a seminal period for financial markets. Earlier in his career, Ian served as UK Editor for AFX News, leading a team of journalists and covering significant events such as the takeover of NatWest by RBS. He started his journalism journey in local newspapers and at Dow Jones News Wires.
