Kingfisher Mining (ASX: KFM) is a highly prospective, Australia-based mineral exploration company targeting precious and base metals. Controlling eleven key tenements covering over 650km2, its immediate operational focus centres on advancing the highly prospective Copper Blow (IOCG) Project, situated within the world-class, historic Broken Hill mining jurisdiction.
Supported by a committed board and a clear pathway for resource discovery, Kingfisher offers investors highly de-risked, leveraged exposure to copper and gold. This is structurally enhanced through a strategic 10-year mining and processing agreement with Broken Hill Mines (ASX: BHM), utilizing established regional infrastructure to secure a clear, low-CAPEX pathway to production.
Kingfisher Mining Ltd (ASX:KFM) earlier this week outlined encouraging silver-lead-zinc drilling results from its Stephens Trig and Allendale prospects near Broken Hill, while flagging drilling and resource work at the flagship Copper Blow copper-gold project as key upcoming catalysts.
Managing director Chris Bittar said the latest program was designed to validate historical drilling, confirm grade continuity and test the potential extension of mineralisation along strike and down dip.
At Stephens Trig, where Kingfisher conducted the first drilling since 2017, the company completed five holes for around 580 metres. Results included five metres at 7.4% lead-zinc with 10 grams per tonne silver, including a higher-grade two-metre interval at 7.5% lead-zinc and 24 grams per tonne silver.
A separate intersection returned one metre at 198 grams per tonne silver, which Bittar highlighted as evidence of the high-grade silver potential within the system.
Kingfisher Mining Ltd (ASX:KFM) has confirmed high-grade silver-lead-zinc mineralisation at the Stephens Trig prospect near Broken Hill, with its first drilling at the project since 2017 validating historical results and highlighting further exploration potential.
The maiden modern reverse circulation (RC) program comprised five holes for 584 metres and tested historically defined mineralisation at Stephens Trig, about 15 kilometres north of Broken Hill in New South Wales.
Kingfisher Mining Ltd (ASX:KFM) has reshaped its exploration portfolio around three established New South Wales mining districts, with the Copper Blow Copper-Gold Project near Broken Hill providing the most advanced project in a wider group of copper, gold, silver, lead and zinc assets.
The company has acquired 11 New South Wales licences, including nine in the Broken Hill region and one each in the Wellington and Cobar districts, making 2026 a milestone year for the company.
Kingfisher Mining Ltd (ASX:KFM) managing director Chris Bittar talked with Proactive about the company’s June 2026 quarter, during which it completed 24 reverse circulation drill holes for 2,962 metres across its Broken Hill copper-gold and base metals portfolio.
The drilling campaign included work at the flagship Copper Blow Copper-Gold Project, Stephens Trig and Allendale. Copper Blow remained the principal focus, with Kingfisher Mining completing 10 holes for 1,576 metres as it continued infill and extensional drilling ahead of a planned maiden mineral resource estimate.
Further drilling is planned at Copper Blow, with upcoming work expected to focus on extensions along strike and at depth. Diamond drilling is also planned to support preliminary testing of the oxide portion of the mineralised body.
