Experian forecasts revenue improvement as acquisitions complete

Organic revenue for the quarter to September 30 is expected to drop by 0-5%

Experian PLC (LON:EXPN) said acquisitions completed recently, such as the Arvato risk management division in Germany, are to add 2% to revenue growth for the rest of the financial year.

Organic revenue for the quarter to September 30 is expected to drop by 0-5%, as the consumer credit reporting company continues to implement cost-saving actions alongside investments organisational capacity, technology and new propositions.

In the quarter to June 30, total revenue dipped 1%, with North America rising 4% while Latin America, rest of the world and UK & Ireland slipped 26%, 20% and 18% respectively.

North America saw growth in business-to-business and strong demand for credit education and identity monitoring subscription services.

The other regions were hit by weak demand amid coronavirus disruption.

Shares dipped 1% to 2,828p early on Thursday.
