The AIM-listed firm said both of its brands, food dim t and Wildwood, “will remain relevant” and will reap benefits once consumer confidence picks up.

“Despite the challenging and uncertain trading environment we hope 2020 will be a year in which trading will continue to improve,” the firm said.

In the year to 29 December, revenue dropped 6% to £44mln due to closure of sites, while loss before tax narrowed by 97% to £266,000.

The board did not propose a dividend, same as in 2018.
