Sirius Real Estate represents good value, says US investment bank

Investment bank Jefferies has kicked off its coverage of Sirius Real Estate Limited (LSE:SRE, JSE:SRE, OTC:SRRLF) with a buy rating and bullish price target of 120p, suggesting a potential upside of 26%.

Jefferies highlighted Sirius' income-led operating model and its focus on the mid-market segment comprising branded business spaces across Germany and the UK.

According to Jefferies analysts, Sirius' underlying profit (EBITDA) is projected to grow from €125.5 million in financial 2024 to €160.2 million by financial 2027.

Additionally, funds from operations (FFO) and dividends per share (DPS) are expected to increase over the same period.

Sirius’ current price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 13.6x makes it cheap relative to the sector average of 16x, while the company's dividend yield stands at an attractive 5.5%.

Jefferies initiated its coverage after the real estate investment trust (REIT) raised £150 million through an equity placing to fund its acquisition pipeline.

Shares were trading at 94.5p on Monday, 22 June.
