Ian Lyall, a seasoned journalist and editor, brings over three decades of experience to his role as Managing Editor at Proactive. Overseeing Proactive's editorial and broadcast operations across six offices on three continents, Ian is responsible for quality control, editorial policy, and content production. Prior to Proactive, Ian helped lead the business output at the Daily Mail, serving as News Editor and Investment Editor. His roles encompassed directing news coverage, writing articles and features and penning a popular weekly column. His tenure coincided with banking crisis, a seminal period for financial markets. Earlier in his career, Ian served as UK Editor for AFX News, leading a team of journalists and covering significant events such as the takeover of NatWest by RBS. He started his journalism journey in local newspapers and at Dow Jones News Wires.
