  1. The FTSE 100 posted a triple-digit advance as the Iran threat faded, and bond markets eased (a little).
  2. Airtel Money, the African mobile payments business, began dealings in London at 196p, valuing the company at £5.3 billion in one of the more significant Main Market floats of the year.
  3. SSP Group, the airport and rail station food operator, launched a £50 million buyback after full-year revenue came in at around £3.8 billion and fourth-quarter like-for-like sales rose 4%, though a soft North American summer and Gulf disruption trimmed the headline numbers.
  4. Trainline, the online rail ticketing platform, rose 3% after the Office of Rail and Road proposed rules to stop Great British Railways using its network control to favour its own ticket sales over independent retailers.
  5. Stifel dismissed renewed takeover talk around Rightmove, the UK's biggest property portal, keeping its sell rating and arguing the shares had run ahead of what the fundamentals could justify.

See you next week, folks.
